my favorite part of summer

Just got back from my church's Summer Camp, where we stay at Mt. Hope Bible Camp for 7 days. According to our youth pastor, it was our biggest camp! This year, we were celebrating its 30th anniversary with (I think) over 250 students attending. The theme for this camp was hero, where all the teams were either Marvel or DC superheroes (Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Justice League, Legion of Super-heroes, Teen Titans, and X-men), yet the messages stressed how Jesus Christ is the Ultimate Superhero and Savior of the world. Though summer ministry is always hard and tiring, I'm very grateful to be a part of this ministry. It's always so encouraging to see those in Christ growing and seeing those who don't know Christ come to believe in Him.

For the Great Adventure, which is a role-playing game where all the staff get to dress up and act as their character, my sister had an idea of making shirts since we were both doing documentation and asked me to design something. I was inspired by pop art from comic books. The front has a 30 logo for the 30th anniversary, and the back says #CBCH3R0, the official hashtag. It's iron-on though so it won't last long lol, but it was really fun making it even though I got to wear it for a day.

Here's also the video of pretty much what happened that week. Kudos to my friend Marjory who edited the whole Friday night till breakfast time. It's also my new favorite song. Enjoyzzz. :D
