Powerpuff Mica!

Because on this day, November 18th, The Powerpuff Girls (1998) turns 20-years-old!! My niece, Mica, posed this way when my sister was taking a picture as she was a month old at the time. I originally wanted to make a screen print of this, but due to the fires that have been happening in California, my college was closed and wasn't able to do it. If finals aren't so crazy, I'll probably still print this ... just wanted to post this tonight for the show's anniversary. :)

"The Phantom of the Opera is there inside my mind ..."

[literally tho lol.]

On September 29th, I watched The Phantom of the Opera on broadway for my mom's belated birthday. It was the first time I've watched the whole thing as well as actually knowing what the story is ... and still to this day, I rave about it. Honestly, I loved it so much that I watched the movie when I got home. In broadway, Christine DaaĆ© was played by Emma Grimsley and the Phantom was played by Quentin Oliver Lee. Big shoutout to them for making it a memorable one!

"Get It Right"

What can you do when your good isn't good enough
And all that you touch tumbles down?
'Cause my best intentions
Keep making a mess of things
I just wanna fix it somehow
But how many times will it take?

" ... the very stones would cry out." Luke 19:40

"Certainly if they were to speak, they would have much to testify in praise of Him who created them by the Word of His power; they could extol the wisdom and power of their Maker who called them into being ... The old rocks could tell of chaos and order, and the handiwork of God in successive stages of creation's drama ... If the stones were to speak, they could tell of their breaker, how he took them from the quarry, and made them fit for the temple, and cannot we tell of our glorious Breaker, who broke our hearts with the hammer of his word, that he might build us into his temple?"
—Charles Spurgeon

had this idea for a while and was finally able to do it. also, Happy Earth Day!

that "Glaciator" episode tho ...

"Out of the seven billion people, baby, you're the only one."

On Monday, I watched the latest Miraculous Ladybug episode and that junk messed me up ... so I wanted to draw something lol. I was also listening to "Numbers" by The Cab and it inspired me to make this doodle. I originally thought of it having no candle, but thought it would be cute since it didn't show Chat blowing it out heh.
